ETHOSA's shower gel scent is a blend of Natural Essential Oils of Eucalyptus, Bergamot & Rosemary and is inspired by Aromatherapy.
Let's start by explaining what Aromatherapy is.
It is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries. When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional centre of the brain and generate a lot of benefits.
Ok, and what about Essential Oils? Where are they coming from?
They are basically plant extracts. They're made by steaming or pressing various parts of a plant (flowers, bark, leaves or fruit) to capture the compounds that produce fragrance.
Now let's speak a bit more about the 3 Essential Oils used in ETHOSA's shower gel scent:
🌱 Eucalyptus, refreshing and relaxing, a favourite in Spas, Steam Rooms and Saunas. Instantly recognisable fresh, sharp, camphoraceous top note and penetrating, woody undertones. Eucalyptus is often associated as a stimulating oil, however it is just as effective as Lavender at aiding a good night's sleep, by promoting a sense of wellbeing and happiness in the mind.
🍊 Bergamot, a sweet, lemon-like, fresh top note with warm, floral and balsamic undertones. The Happy Oil, that brings sunshine and happiness. It is described as a feel-good oil and is naturally uplifting.
🪴 Rosemary, refreshing and cleansing with its sharp and recognisable scent. It is stimulating and aids concentration; it instantly clears the mind.
